• ARE FILORGA PRODUCTS TESTED ON ANIMALS?

  Filorga abides by all regulatory requirements associated with animal testing everywhere we do business. Filorga follows the UK regulations and the EU directive banning the testing on animals on cosmetic products. Filorga does not conduct animal testing in the development of the formula or claims support for any product. In addition, Filorga is committed to working toward the elimination of all laboratory safety testing using animals and strives to address safety assessment requirements for our products using available databases and non-animal alternatives. In rare instances, local regulation may require animal tests on our product at a contract facility that meets government standards and requirements.

• WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?

  Hyaluronic acid is a major component of the extracellular matrix of the dermis, providing structure and order. Its remarkable properties allow it to ensure the “support mat” is filled, protect cells (fibroblasts) and organise collagen fibres. Capable of holding 1,000 times its own weight in water, hyaluronic acid is known for its intense moisturising properties. Naturally present in various body tissues (skin, cartilage, etc.) this exceptional molecule is used in multiple fields (ocular surgery, osteoarthritis surgery) and more specifically, in the field of aesthetic medicine as wrinkle-filler product. It is also used in cosmetics for its moisturising and filling properties.
