AT THE HEART OF OUR FORMULAS
A RIGOROUS SELECTION OF INGREDIENTS
At FILORGA, we believe that synthetic active ingredients (such as vitamins and peptides) and natural active ingredients (hyaluronic acid, plant extracts, orchid stem cells, etc.) complement each other perfectly. That's why we use synthetic molecules to preserve natural resources and ensure optimal efficacy and tolerance.
We make the invisible visible. Our natural active ingredients are obtained using cutting-edge biotechnology techniques such as plant extraction, biofermentation, and cell cultures. For example, our hyaluronic acid is derived from wheat bran, a by-product obtained during the processing of wheat into flour. The result? High-performance formulas that respect your skin and provide you with a unique sensory experience.
OUR GOAL? TO ACHIEVE AT LEAST 90% NATURAL INGREDIENTS BY 2026
Our formulation experts could come close to achieving 100% natural products, but this would be at the expense of the effectiveness and stability of our skincare products, as well as at the expense of the planet. It is sometimes necessary to resort to laboratory synthesis to optimize the effects of a molecule. This is the case, for example, with vitamin C, which is sensitive to oxidation and must be stabilized. FILORGA Laboratories' formulas contain an average of 88%* natural ingredients. (*Calculation according to ISO 16128).
Certain compounds, if produced from natural resources such as plants, would require intensive farming, the use of large amounts of water, and transportation. Processing and producing them in the laboratory, with pharmaceutical quality and using biotechnological processes, allows us to save precious natural resources while guaranteeing the highest purity of our ingredients. Designing a cream or skincare product is both an art and a science. In each of our formulas, all ingredients are precisely measured to achieve the perfect balance between efficacy, tolerance, and sensoriality. FILORGA Laboratories put their scientific expertise at the service of your skin to offer you meticulously designed skincare products for visible and lasting results.

TRAVEL WITH FILORGA LABORATORIES AT THE HEART OF OUR FORMULAS
In our formulas, each ingredient plays a specific role:
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS (hyaluronic acid, enzymes, vitamins, plant extracts, etc.) provide direct benefits to the skin. They are what make the product effective.
MOISTURIZING AGENTS (glycerin, etc.) and EMOLLIENTS (oils, etc.) help integrate the active ingredients into the formula and provide the skin with hydration and nutrition.
EMULSIFIERS (glyceryl stearate, etc.) stabilize the formula over time.
TEXTURIZING AGENTS (glucomannan, sodium polyacrylate starch, etc.), such as thickeners or gelling agents, adjust the viscosity, appearance, and feel of a formula to optimize the product's sensory properties.
PRESERVATIVES (potassium sorbate, benzoic acid, etc.) are antibacterial and antifungal agents that protect the formula by preventing the growth of microorganisms (bacteria, yeast, fungi, etc.).
PH ADJUSTERS (citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, etc.) adjust the pH of formulas to match the pH of the skin.
COLORANTS and FRAGRANCES enhance the sensory qualities of the product to optimize the pleasure of application.
FOCUS ON ASSETS
One might think that the higher the concentration of an active ingredient in a product, the more effective it is. This is not the case, as the concentration of active ingredients is not an indicator of effectiveness or quality. FILORGA bases its formulas on proven clinical results, guaranteeing optimal effectiveness. Active ingredients are incorporated in ideal concentrations to achieve the best results while respecting the skin. That is why we meticulously select the most effective active ingredients, whether they are synthesized in the laboratory or derived from natural sources.
FAQ
Our list of ingredients may seem long, but that's because we use the powerful NCEF complex in our formula. This complex is composed of hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, coenzymes, minerals, and antioxidants—all elements that are naturally present in the skin and essential for the proper functioning of our cells. Of course, we never sacrifice consumer safety for the effectiveness of our product, and we comply with all regulatory requirements to ensure a safe, high-quality product.
It is important to understand that creams cannot replace injections, but at FILORGA, we have developed a cosmetic alternative for those who are not yet ready to take the plunge with injections. Our products contain the unique NCEF complex, which encapsulates the same active ingredients used in injections. We draw inspiration from aesthetic medicine techniques to develop ultra-sensory and effective cosmetic formulations that work in just 7 days*. Our products can also be used to complement aesthetic medicine treatments once the skin is ready to receive cosmetic care.*Tested on all FILORGA day creams.
Throughout the product life cycle, safety is assessed at every stage, from ingredient selection to consumer use. Ingredients are characterized, impurities are evaluated, and their toxicological profile is examined to determine maximum safe concentrations. Product tolerance is also tested under dermatological supervision using tests such as patch tests and in vitro eye toxicity tests on agarose gel. Finally, after the product is placed on the market, continuous monitoring is implemented to collect any adverse effects reported by consumers via the cosmetovigilance service, allowing for reformulation if necessary.
At FILORGA, we comply with European regulations prohibiting animal testing for cosmetics since 2004 and for raw materials since 2009. We do not test any of our products on animals. The safety of our products is thoroughly evaluated by toxicology experts before we conduct efficacy tests on human volunteers to ensure the safety of our consumers. We are committed to providing high-quality products that meet the highest ethical and regulatory standards.
Consumer safety is a top priority at FILORGA.
Today, there are many substances that are the subject of media controversy, but which are not based on proven scientific evidence. FILORGA rigorously selects its ingredients in accordance with European Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009, one of the strictest regulations in the world with more than 1,300 banned ingredients. We closely monitor developments in scientific knowledge and toxicological data on various controversial ingredients, as well as regulatory news. This constant monitoring allows us to go further and make informed decisions about the selection of our ingredients. FILORGA has therefore established a formulation charter with a list of ingredients that we do not wish to include in the development of our formulas.
We comply with the strictest regulations (European Union and United States) as well as local regulations in the countries where we market our products. We pay particular attention to regulations in Europe*, which are regularly updated in line with scientific advances. The European Commission relies on the opinions of the SCCS (Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety) to develop regulations. The SCCS is composed of scientific experts (chemists, toxicologists, biologists, etc.) who assess the health and safety risks of consumer products (excluding food). The SCCS's opinions take into account new data on ingredients and new toxicological assessment methods. Beyond regulations, we strive to go further to meet consumer expectations and anticipate future developments.
